AKM factory slant muzzle brake

The angled slant compensator that ships on the AKM and most stamped-receiver 7.62x39 Kalashnikovs. The cut face vents gas up and to the right to counter the muzzle climbing that way for a right-handed shooter. Threads onto the M14x1 LH muzzle and is held by the front sight base detent.
