Overview
The 2A Armament Balios Lite BLR-Carbon is the carbon-fiber flagship of 2A's lightweight AR-15 line. It mates 2A's CNC-machined 7075-T6 billet receiver set to a 16-inch Proof Research carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel with a .223 Wylde match chamber, 1:8 twist and mid-length gas system. As with the standard Balios Lite, titanium is used throughout -- the gas block, barrel nut, takedown pins and T3 muzzle compensator -- to keep the complete rifle around 5.5 pounds dry. It wears the 15-inch BL-RAIL M-LOK/KeyMod free-float handguard, a CMC/Timney two-stage flat trigger, a Magpul CTR stock and a Magpul MIAD grip, finished in MCM Firearms '2A-Gray' Cerakote.
