Overview
The Aero Precision M4E1 Complete is a mid-tier AR-15 carbine built around Aero's innovative M4E1 enhanced receiver set, introduced in 2015. The rifle features a 16-inch 4150 CrMoV steel barrel with QPQ (Quench-Polish-Quench) coating, providing superior corrosion and wear resistance. The 1:7 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights from 55 to 77 grains. The M4E1 enhanced upper receiver incorporates a unique threaded barrel nut system that eliminates timing issues and simplifies installation of the enhanced handguard. The one-piece free-float handguard features integrated anti-rotation tabs, M-LOK attachment points, and a continuous Picatinny top rail. Manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum forgings with Type III hard anodizing, the receivers are precisely machined to M4E1 specifications with M4 feed ramps. The mid-length gas system provides optimal dwell time with the 16-inch barrel, resulting in softer recoil and reduced wear. The barrel undergoes high-pressure testing and magnetic particle inspection to ensure reliability. Quick-disconnect sling mounts are positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock on the handguard.
