Overview

The Air Arms Pro-Sport is a British underlever spring-piston air rifle chambered for .177 (4.5mm) and .22 pellets. Introduced in the mid-1990s, it is built around a fully enclosed underlever cocking mechanism that hides the cocking lever within the action's profile, paired with a 12-groove Lothar Walther barrel and an integrated moderator. Renowned for its match-grade accuracy and adjustable two-stage trigger, it is a favourite among field target and hunter field target shooters. UK-legal examples are tuned to remain below the 12 ft·lb (16 J) limit, while export versions can produce up to 20 J.

Notes

The Pro-Sport's signature feature is its concealed underlever, which retracts flush into the action for clean lines. Stocks are produced in beech or walnut by Italian stockmaker Minelli.

Background

Air Arms developed the Pro-Sport as a premium sporting and field-target spring rifle, distinguished by an elegant concealed underlever that tucks the cocking arm out of sight along the underside of the action.
