Overview
The AirForce Texan is a big-bore pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) single-shot air rifle and one of the most powerful production air rifles in the world. Built around a 490cc air tank pressurized to 3000 psi and fitted with a 34-inch Lothar Walther barrel, the .457 model launches heavy lead slugs at velocities exceeding 1000 fps for muzzle energies over 600 foot-pounds, making it suitable for hunting large game. It uses an aluminum frame and tank, a side-lever cocking system, and a two-stage adjustable trigger.
