Overview
The AK Alfa is a modernized Kalashnikov-pattern assault rifle developed by the Israeli firm Command Arms & Accessories (CAA) and branded for export as Kalashnikov Israel and Kalashnikov USA. Built around the proven long-stroke gas-operated, rotating-bolt action of the AK, it preserves the platform's reliability while adding modern ergonomics: an ambidextrous safety selector, a removable side-folding polymer stock, an extended aluminum top cover with a full-length Picatinny rail, and a relocatable charging handle. Chambered in 7.62x39mm, it feeds from standard AK-compatible 30-round magazines.
