Background
Akkar became the first Turkish company to produce pump-action and semi-automatic shotguns, starting in 1992, and within a decade was exporting tens of thousands of guns a year; the Churchill 612 reached American buyers under two different brand names, first as the CZ 612 and later as the EAA Churchill 612.
