Overview
The Angstadt Arms UDP-9 (Ultra-compact Defense Pistol) is a 9x19mm AR-9 pattern pistol-caliber firearm that feeds from GLOCK-pattern double-stack magazines. Built around fully machined 7075-T6 billet aluminum upper and lower receivers, the UDP-9 ships with a 6-inch chrome moly barrel finished in black Melonite, a 1/10 twist and 1/2x28 TPI threading capped with an A2-style flash suppressor. It uses a straight blowback action with last-round bolt hold open, an Angstadt Arms EMT-9 single-stage trigger, a Radian Weapons Talon ambidextrous safety selector and a Radian Raptor LT ambidextrous charging handle. Furniture includes an SB Tactical SBA3 stabilizing brace, a B5 Systems grip and an Angstadt Arms ultra-light 5.5-inch M-LOK handguard with lightening cuts. The lower features an integrated trigger guard and flared magwell, and the design is compatible with both AR9 and AR15 component ecosystems. The UDP-9 is offered in black hard-coat anodized, Magpul Flat Dark Earth Cerakote and Tactical Grey Cerakote, and is sold as both a braced pistol and, in the registered SBR configuration, with a B5 Systems Bravo stock.
