Antonio Zoli S.p.A. · Shotgun · In Production
Overview
The Zoli Pernice is a premium round-body over-and-under break-action game shotgun built by Italian gunmaker Antonio Zoli of Gardone Val Trompia. Offered in 12, 20, 28 gauge and .410 bore with 76 mm (3 inch) chambers, it is built on a monolithic forged-steel round-body receiver with a Boss-type locking bolt and a detachable trigger group using titanium-coated components and self-lubricating springs. Barrel lengths run 28, 29.5 or 32 inches with silver-soldered barrels, a Churchill top rib and five interchangeable chokes, topped by an oil-finished Turkish walnut stock and an adjustable single selective inertial trigger. Named for the partridge and styled after classic English game guns, it is marketed to experienced hunters and finished with a silver antiqued, deeply engraved receiver.

Background
Antonio Zoli is one of the oldest gunmaking houses in Gardone Val Trompia, with roots dating back to the 16th century; the Pernice takes its name from the Italian word for partridge and reworks the firm's Boss-type action and detachable trigger group into a slender round-body game gun in the English tradition.
