Overview
The AREX Rex Delta L is the full-size member of the modular Rex Delta family of striker-fired, semi-automatic pistols chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, produced by the Slovenian manufacturer AREX Defense. Compared with the compact Delta M and mid-size Delta X, the Delta L pairs a polymer frame with a longer 114 mm (4.5-inch) barrel and slide and a 17-round detachable box magazine, giving a longer sight radius and softer recoil impulse for duty and range use. Its short-recoil, locked-breech action drives a partially pre-cocked striker, and the frame accepts removable front and rear inserts plus interchangeable backstraps to tailor grip fit. Ambidextrous slide stops, a reversible magazine release, a flared magwell, an accessory rail, forward and rear slide serrations, and an optics-ready (OR) option for mounting a micro red-dot round out a practical full-size defensive handgun.

Notes
The Delta line is offered in three grip/slide sizes - M (compact, 15 rounds), X (mid/standard) and L (full length, 17 rounds) - each available in a standard or optics-ready (OR) version. The OR configuration is slightly lighter (approx. 565 g without magazine). Delta M and Delta L share identical controls and internal construction, differing only in external proportions and capacity.
Background
AREX built its reputation on the full-metal Rex Zero 1 service pistol before moving into the polymer, striker-fired market with the Delta; the modular Delta family lets a shooter step up from the concealable Delta M to the full-size Delta L while keeping identical controls and internal architecture.
