Also known as: AR-30A1

Overview

The ArmaLite AR-30A1 is a bolt-action precision rifle designed for long-range target shooting and tactical applications. An evolution of the original AR-30, the A1 model features a refined V-block barrel attachment system, improved adjustable stock with cheek piece, and ArmaLite's patented muzzle brake that significantly reduces felt recoil from the powerful .338 Lapua Magnum and .300 Winchester Magnum cartridges. The 26-inch chrome-moly barrel with 6-groove right-hand 1:10-inch twist provides excellent accuracy, and the rifle feeds from a 5-round detachable box magazine. The aluminum-alloy receiver is mated to a synthetic fixed stock with adjustable length of pull and comb height, making it an accessible entry point into the long-range magnum precision rifle market at a competitive price point.
