Overview
The Arsenal Firearms Strike One is a full-size, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol introduced in 2012, chambered primarily in 9x19mm Parabellum. Designed by Dimitry Streshinskiy and Nicola Bandini, it uses an unusual in-line locked-breech short-recoil action derived from the Bergmann-Bayard system, in which the barrel does not tilt during cycling. This gives the pistol an exceptionally low bore axis (about 12 mm from the barrel centerline to the top of the grip), reducing muzzle rise and felt recoil compared with conventional tilting-barrel service pistols.

Background
The Strike One's flat, low-slung profile comes from reviving the century-old in-line, non-tilting barrel of the Bergmann-Bayard pistol, letting the barrel sit unusually deep in the shooter's hand for minimal muzzle flip.
