Overview
The Astra Camper is a compact blowback-operated semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in .22 Short, produced by the Spanish maker Astra-Unceta y Cia. It is a long-barrel version of the vest-pocket Astra Cub (Model 2000), fitted with an approximately 4-inch (102 mm) barrel in place of the Cub's stubby 2.25-inch barrel and a drift-adjustable rear sight, intended as a light packable outdoors and small-game plinking sidearm. Aside from the extended barrel and revised sights and grips, it retains the Cub's exposed hammer, single-action trigger, magazine safety and single-stack six-round magazine.

Notes

The pocket-sized Astra Cub was widely copied and licensed; its .25 ACP sibling was imported into the United States as the Colt Junior, while the .22 Short Camper carved out a niche as a lightweight trail and camp pistol.
