Astra Model 680
Astra-Unceta y Cia · Revolver · Discontinued · 1981
Also known as: Astra 680
Overview
The Astra Model 680 is a compact, short-barreled double-action revolver manufactured in Spain by Astra-Unceta y Cia, introduced in 1981. Primarily chambered in .38 Special with a 6-round cylinder, it was also offered in .32 S&W Long, .22 Long Rifle, and .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire. A refinement of the earlier Astra Model 250, it featured minor changes to the frame and recoil shield. Its 2-inch barrel, swing-out cylinder, and light, compact form made it well suited to civilian defense, concealed carry, and use as a police backup weapon. It was offered in blued, stainless (INOX), and aluminum-framed (AL) finishes.
