Overview
The Avidity Arms PD10 is a slim, single-stack striker-fired 9mm pistol designed by defensive-shooting instructor Rob Pincus and brought to market by Avidity Arms. Conceived as a purpose-built everyday concealed-carry handgun, the PD10 distills feedback gathered from thousands of students and dozens of instructors into a deliberately minimalist design. Its 4-inch barrel delivers a full-size sight radius and shooting experience in a package that remains thin and lightweight for daily carry. Reflecting Pincus's training methodology, the slide wears only rear serrations because his curriculum teaches manipulating the slide exclusively from the rear. A large square front sight, a 'Claw' emergency-manipulation rear sight, and a milled optic cut for slim reflex sights round out a feature set focused squarely on defensive utility rather than range frills.

Background
The PD10 had an unusually long road to production - Rob Pincus first publicly debuted the concept at SHOT Show 2017, but the pistol did not reach the consumer market until 2022 after years of refinement.
