Overview
The AWC G2 is a rare American bullpup sniper rifle developed by Lynn McWilliams of AWC Systems Technologies, based on the M14/M1A weapon platform. Working closely with Gale McMillan of McMillan Rifle Stock, McWilliams designed a purpose-built bullpup stock to transform the proven M14 action into a compact, suppressor-capable precision platform. The G2 was tested by multiple US and foreign governmental agencies seeking to modernize the venerable M14 into a more compact configuration suitable for vehicle operations and close-quarters precision shooting. The rifle was capable of 1 MOA accuracy and was offered with AWC's proprietary suppressor systems.

Notes
The AWC G2 is extremely rare, with fewer than 100 semi-automatic variants produced in four colors (black, white, green, and panzer grey). At least one fully automatic variant (G2FA) was produced in black. The G2A+ was the final significant development, featuring a heavy stainless Krieger match barrel and McWilliams' ultimate scope mount design. It was tested at Fort Bragg sniper school. Eight rifles were sold to civilians and have become highly sought-after collector's pieces. The bullpup configuration significantly reduced overall length compared to a standard M14 while retaining the full-length barrel.
Background
The AWC G2 represents one of the most ambitious attempts to reinvent the M14 platform. Lynn McWilliams' collaboration with the legendary Gale McMillan produced a bullpup that could outshoot many purpose-built sniper rifles while being short enough to operate from inside a vehicle. Its extreme rarity makes surviving examples among the most valuable modern military rifles in private hands.
