Overview
The AYA Augusta is a best-quality over-and-under sidelock shotgun handcrafted by Aguirre y Aranzabal (AYA) in Eibar, Spain, and is regarded as the most famous over-and-under ever made in the Basque Country. Built on a forged-steel action with a double locking mechanism and chopper-lump forged-steel barrels with a concave rib, it is offered in 12, 16, 20, 28 gauge and .410 bore. Standard features include double triggers with a hinged front trigger (single selective or non-selective trigger optional), gas-vent valves, gold-lined cocking indicators, an automatic safety, English-style engraving and a finely checkered, oil-finished straight-hand walnut stock.
