Overview
The AyA Coral is a 12-gauge over-and-under boxlock shotgun built by the Spanish gunmaker Aguirre y Aranzabal (AYA) in Eibar. It features a bolstered, scalloped-back boxlock action locked by double Kersten crossbolts, demi-bloc barrels with a ventilated top rib, automatic ejectors, cocking indicators on both sides and color-case-hardened, hand-engraved game scenes. A traditional field and sporting gun, it is valued for its handling and craftsmanship at a comparatively accessible price among hand-built European shotguns.

Background
AYA, founded in 1917 by Nicolás Aguirre and Miguel Aranzabal, became one of the best-known names in the Basque gunmaking town of Eibar, exporting hand-built side-by-side and over-and-under shotguns worldwide.
