Bear Creek Arsenal Grizzly 101
Bear Creek Arsenal · Pistol · In Production · 2024
Also known as: BC-101, BCA Grizzly, Grizzly 9mm
Overview
The Bear Creek Arsenal Grizzly 101 (BC-101) is the company's first polymer-frame striker-fired pistol, a full-size 9mm closely patterned on the Glock 17. It uses a polymer frame the same size class as the Glock 17 with a 20-degree grip angle and BCA's textured 'bear fur' stippling, and most upper components - barrel, trigger, firing pin and related parts - are compatible with Glock Gen 3 parts, while the magazine release follows the Glock Gen 5 pattern. The slide features an RMR optic cut plus a black-nitride window cut, making it optic ready out of the box, and ships with photoluminescent sights for low-light use. The non-threaded barrel is 416R stainless steel with a 1:16 twist. Capacity is 17+1, and the pistol ships with two 17-round magazines (KCI). At an MSRP around $295, the Grizzly 101 is positioned as one of the most affordable full-size 9mm pistols on the market.

Background
Bear Creek Arsenal built its reputation on budget AR-15s and barrels; the Grizzly 101 marked the company's first move into polymer-frame handguns, entering the crowded Glock-clone market with an aggressively low price and a feature set - optic cut, photoluminescent sights and two included magazines - usually reserved for pricier pistols.
