Overview
The Benjamin Akela is an American pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) bullpup air rifle produced by Crosman under the Benjamin brand. Chambered for .22 caliber pellets, it uses a smooth side-lever cocking action to feed from a 12-shot rotary magazine and delivers velocities up to about 305 m/s (1000 fps) for roughly 43 joules of muzzle energy. Its compact bullpup layout pairs a Turkish walnut stock with a shrouded, integrally suppressed rifled steel barrel, a 280cc air reservoir good for up to 60 shots per fill, and a power-adjuster knob, making it a quiet, accurate small-game and pest-control rifle.
