Overview

The Bernardelli Model 60 is a compact, blowback-operated, single-action pocket pistol introduced in 1959 by the Italian firm Vincenzo Bernardelli of Gardone Val Trompia. Offered in .22 LR, .32 ACP (7.65mm Browning) and .380 ACP (9mm Short), it featured an all-steel construction with a fixed barrel and an exposed hammer, in the same class as the Walther PPK. Imports of the centerfire chamberings into the United States were largely curtailed after the U.S. Gun Control Act of 1968.
