Overview
The Bettinsoli Diamond is a 12-gauge over-and-under boxlock shotgun built by the Italian gunmaker Fratelli Bettinsoli in Gardone Val Trompia, Brescia. Aimed at the value end of the Italian over-under market, it pairs a low-profile boxlock action with 30-inch (or 28-inch) barrels carrying a 10mm ventilated rib, a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors and a set of flush-fitting interchangeable chokes. The walnut sporter stock and receiver carry rose-and-scroll engraving with gold-inlaid game birds, and the gun is chambered for 2.75-inch and 3-inch shells. The line is offered in standard and Diamond Deluxe configurations for game, clay and sporting use.

Weight varies by configuration: standard guns run around 3,490 g (7 lb 11 oz) while the Diamond Deluxe is closer to 3,740 g (8 lb 4 oz). Supplied with five interchangeable chokes, alternate butt plate and choke tools. Bettinsoli warrants the guns for ten years.

Fratelli Bettinsoli was founded in 1953 in Gardone Val Trompia, the heart of Italy's Brescia gunmaking valley, and built a reputation supplying competitively priced over-and-under shotguns to the British and European clay and game markets before expanding into the United States.
