Blaser Jagdwaffen GmbH · Shotgun · In Production · 2003
Also known as: F3, Blaser F3 Competition, Blaser F3 SuperSport
Overview
The Blaser F3 is a premium German competition over/under shotgun featuring the proprietary Triplex overbored barrel design with an 18.65mm bore diameter and 2.5-degree forcing cone angle for reduced pellet deformation and tighter patterns. The barrel balancer system adds up to 170g of weight under the forend for discipline-specific balance tuning, while all three available barrel lengths are engineered to nearly identical weight through contour adjustments. The F3 features the IBS (Inertia Block System) to prevent doubling, the EBS (Ejection Ball System) for smooth ejection, and a single selective trigger with a crisp 1400g pull. The matte black action with gold F3 logos and HIVIZ interchangeable front sight complete the competition-ready package. Available in Competition, Vantage, SuperSport, and SuperTrap configurations.

Background
The Blaser F3 was the first competition O/U to feature an overbored barrel as standard - the 18.65mm Triplex bore was larger than the industry norm of 18.4mm, providing measurably tighter patterns at all distances. Its barrel balancer system, which allows shooters to add or remove weight under the forend, became one of the most copied features in competition shotgun design.
