Overview
The Brno Model 2 is a Czechoslovak magazine-fed bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Introduced in 1954 by Zbrojovka Brno as a refinement of the earlier Model 1 (ZKM-451) training rifle, it featured a more sophisticated trigger, a vented bolt, a narrower ejection port, an adjustable tangent rear sight, and a side-mounted bolt safety. Built on a quality walnut stock with a cold-hammer-forged barrel, the Model 2 (ZKM-452) earned a lasting reputation for accuracy and craftsmanship, and its basic design evolved into the long-running CZ 452 series.

Background
