Overview
The BSA Scorpion SE is a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle manufactured in Birmingham, England. Built around a 10-shot bolt-action magazine system, it fires .22 (5.5mm) pellets from a free-floating, cold hammer-forged barrel and is offered in .177, .22 and .25 calibres. Features include a self-regulating valve, fully adjustable two-stage trigger, integral pressure gauge, quick-fill adaptor and a removable muzzle brake that can be swapped for a silencer. Charged to 232 bar, it is marketed as a lightweight, all-day hunting and pest-control rifle.

Power ratings vary by region and calibre, from sub-12 ft-lb (UK unlicensed) versions up to full-power FAC variants. The .22 12 ft-lb model produces roughly 585 ft/s (178 m/s). The Scorpion 1200 SE uses a larger air cylinder for a higher shot count.
