Overview

The Bushmaster QRC II (Quick Response Carbine, second generation) is a lightweight 16-inch 5.56 NATO AR-15 carbine aimed at range, field, and home-defense use. At roughly 5.8 pounds without a magazine, it uses a 4150 CMV barrel, an MPI-tested bolt carrier group, a free-float BFI 14-inch M-LOK handguard, and a mil-spec trigger. The LTW (Light Tactical Weapon) versions trim weight further, while PRO variants add upgraded furniture and rails.

Background

The original Bushmaster QRC earned a reputation as one of the most affordable entry tickets into the AR-15 world, often selling complete for the price of a quality stripped lower, and the QRC II carried that budget-friendly, grab-and-go philosophy into the revived brand.
