Overview

The Byrna LE is a CO2-powered less-lethal pistol that fires .68 caliber kinetic and chemical (tear gas and pepper) projectiles from a 5-round magazine. Marketed as Byrna's most powerful handheld launcher, it uses a 12-gram CO2 cartridge to propel rounds at up to roughly 330 feet per second (about 101 m/s) with an effective range near 18 metres. Legal for civilian purchase in most jurisdictions without a firearms licence, it is aimed at law enforcement, security professionals, and personal self-defense.
