Overview
The Cabot National Standard is a premium American-made semi-automatic pistol built on the M1911 platform and chambered in .45 ACP. Machined from 416/420 stainless steel billet to exacting tolerances using CNC machining, wire and sinker EDM, and hand polishing, it achieves a frame-to-slide fit of roughly 0.0005 inches per side without hand fitting. It features a National Match grade barrel, a polished feed ramp, a lowered and flared ejection port, the trademark Tristar trigger, the Cabot Ledge rear sight, and figured walnut grips, with accuracy guaranteed better than 1.5 inches at 25 yards.
