Also known as: CDX-33 LITE, CDX-Lite 33, Cadex Patriot Lite 33

Overview

The Cadex CDX-33 LITE is a lightweight long-range precision bolt-action rifle chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum, built for field operators and long-range shooters who need magnum performance without carrying the full weight of Cadex's flagship chassis rifles. It is built on the Lite Strike chassis, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billets and paired with a fluted Bartlein match barrel with 5R rifling. A reverse-folding, fully adjustable buttstock, 20 MOA full-length top rail, and DX2 Evo two-stage trigger round out a package capable of true sub-MOA accuracy well beyond 1,000 meters.

Notes

The LITE variant trims weight versus the CDX-33 Patriot by using a slimmed Lite Strike chassis and a fluted barrel while retaining the AICS-pattern detachable magazine and the DX2 Evo trigger, which can be configured as one- or two-stage. Commonly supplied with an MX1 muzzle brake. Offered with 27-inch and 32-inch barrel options; specifications listed reflect the 27-inch configuration.

Background

Cadex Defence, based in Quebec, applies aerospace-grade CNC machining to its precision rifle chassis and actions. The CDX-Lite series was developed to answer demand for a lighter-carrying magnum rifle that keeps the accuracy of the heavier Patriot line, making the CDX-33 LITE a favorite among long-range hunters and field competitors chasing distant steel in .338 Lapua Magnum.
