Overview

The Cadex CDX-R7 SHP is a Canadian bolt-action precision sniper rifle built by Cadex Defence around its proprietary R7 four-lug, 50-degree spiral-fluted action. The SHP (Strike Hunting Precision) model pairs a Unisig straight-taper fluted match-grade barrel with 5R rifling and the fully adjustable Strike Nuke Evo synthetic stock, which houses a built-in aluminum micro-chassis, a tool-free adjustable cheek piece, an M-LOK fore-end and adjustable length of pull. Chambered in short-action cartridges such as .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC and 300 WSM, it feeds from AICS-pattern detachable box magazines, uses the adjustable DX2 EVO trigger and ships with an MX2-ST tactical muzzle brake that is suppressor-ready, making it suited to long-range precision shooting and tactical use.
