Overview

The Caesar Guerini Magnus is an Italian over/under double-barreled break-action shotgun built in Brescia for upland and field hunting. Offered in 12, 20 and 28 gauge with 3-inch chambers, it features a case-colored sideplate receiver protected by Caesar Guerini's Invisalloy finish, deluxe Turkish walnut stock with a hand-rubbed oil finish in a Prince-of-Wales grip and Schnabel fore-end, a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors and five flush-fitting interchangeable chokes. The 12-gauge model carries 28- or 30-inch chrome-lined barrels and weighs around 3.2 kg.

Sold in the United States through Caesar Guerini USA. The Magnus Light reduces weight to roughly 2.7 kg for walked-up hunting. Barrels are also offered in 30-inch (762 mm) length.

Background

Caesar Guerini was founded in 2000 by brothers Giorgio and Antonio Guerini, members of a Brescia gunmaking family with roots reaching back through Italy's historic Gardone Val Trompia arms district.
