Also known as: Canik TP9 Elite Combat, Salient Arms TP9, TP9 SAI, Canik Combat Elite
Overview
The Canik TP9 Elite Combat is a full-size striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, developed in collaboration with Salient Arms International (SAI). Building on the proven TP9 platform, the Elite Combat introduces premium upgrades including a flat-faced aluminum trigger, Warren Tactical sights with fiber-optic front, co-witness cuts for optics, and SAI-designed performance enhancements throughout the action. The slide and small steel parts feature nitride finishes, while internal components use nitride or high-wear nickel coatings. Each pistol ships with both a 15-round and 18-round magazine, plus a Salient-designed competition holster. The Elite Combat positions Canik as a direct competitor to high-end performance pistols from Smith & Wesson, Glock, and SIG Sauer at a substantially lower price point - extending the value-engineering reputation that propelled Canik to mainstream success in the American market.
