Overview

The Caracal CSR 338 is a bolt-action precision rifle chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum, designed for extreme long-range engagements out to 2,000 meters. Sharing the same chassis architecture as the CSR 308, the CSR 338 scales up with a 27-inch 32CrMoV steel barrel and 3 Port brake to manage the significantly greater recoil of the .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge. The patented folding stock with fully adjustable cheekpiece and tool-free adjustments allows rapid deployment and shooter customization.

Background

The CSR 338 fills the long-range precision gap in Caracal's product lineup, providing a capability previously only available from Western manufacturers like Accuracy International and Barrett. For the UAE military, having a domestically produced .338 Lapua platform reduces dependence on foreign suppliers for this critical capability.
