Also known as: CASH Special XL Captive Bolt Stunner, Accles & Shelvoke CASH Special XL

Overview

The CASH Special XL is a cartridge-powered penetrating captive bolt stunner (humane killer) manufactured by Accles & Shelvoke of Birmingham, England. The most powerful tool in the pistol-shaped CASH Special range, it fires a retained steel bolt driven by a .25 calibre blank cartridge to instantly stun heavy animals prior to slaughter. It accepts cartridges up to 4.5-grain (green) and requires two positive cocking actions for safety, with an automatic bolt return that speeds up repeated operation. It is not a projectile firearm: the bolt is captive and never leaves the tool.
