Overview
The Century Arms C39V2 is an American-made, gas-operated semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm and patterned on the Soviet AK-47. Unlike stamped-receiver AK clones, it is built around a milled receiver machined from a solid block of 4140 ordnance-quality steel, paired with a 16.5-inch nitride-treated 4150 chrome-moly barrel. Marketed as a 100% U.S.-made AK with no imported parts, it ships with a 30-round magazine and features that make it compliant with U.S. firearms regulations.

The C39V2 succeeded Century's original C39 and is offered in several furniture configurations, including standard wood, Magpul MOE, and Zhukov-S variants. Barrel is threaded with a concentric left-hand 14x1 metric thread for the included muzzle device.
Background
The C39V2 was Century Arms' answer to demand for a domestically produced AK-pattern rifle amid tightening restrictions on imported Russian and Eastern-Bloc firearms, positioned as an all-American milled-receiver alternative to imported stamped AKs.
