The Century Arms WASR-M is a 9mm Luger AKM-pattern carbine built in Romania and finished by Century Arms for the US market. Unlike the gas-operated 7.62x39mm WASR-10, the pistol-caliber WASR-M uses a simple blowback action and feeds from Glock 17/19-pattern magazines, shipping with a 33-round magazine. It retains the AKM manual of arms, an original Romanian barrel, AKM-compatible furniture, and the RAK-1 enhanced trigger group.
