Overview

The Chiappa 1892 Core is a modernized lever-action carbine introduced for 2026 as part of Chiappa's expanded 92 Wildlands lineup. Chambered in .44 Magnum, it pairs a Winchester 1892-pattern lever action with contemporary features: a 16.5-inch barrel threaded for compensators or suppressors, a walnut stock and handguard with M-LOK slots, and an angle-eject blued steel receiver that allows an optional Picatinny optic mount.

Background

Chiappa's 1892 line revives the John Browning-designed Winchester Model 1892 action, but the Core variant breaks with tradition by adding M-LOK rails and a threaded muzzle for a tactical-flavored take on the classic cowboy carbine.
