Overview
The Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy Carbine is a lever-action carbine and a faithful reproduction of the Winchester Model 1866, manufactured in Italy by Uberti and imported by Cimarron Firearms. Nicknamed the "Yellowboy" for its distinctive polished brass receiver and buttplate, it retains the toggle-link action and Nelson King's side loading gate that made the original the first practical repeating cowboy rifle. Chambered here in .45 Colt with a 19-inch round barrel, tubular magazine, saddle ring, and straight-grained walnut stock, it is popular with Cowboy Action Shooting competitors and Old West enthusiasts.
