Also known as: Dissent Mk17 9mm

Overview

The CMMG Dissent Mk17 is a 9x19mm Parabellum pistol-caliber carbine built on CMMG's compact DISSENT platform. It uses a Radial Delayed Blowback operating system and a shortened, side-charging DISSENT receiver set to produce one of the most compact AR-pattern PCCs available. The Mk17 lower feeds from SIG Sauer P320 21-round magazines and, in its 6.5-inch configuration, measures under 16 inches overall. It is offered as a pistol, SBR, and rifle across 6.5-inch, 10.5-inch, and 16.1-inch barrel lengths.

Notes

The DISSENT platform relocates the recoil system out of the receiver extension, allowing a much shorter overall length than a conventional AR-pattern PCC and enabling a side-folding or fixed configuration. The Mk17 lower is dedicated to SIG P320 magazines.

Background

CMMG introduced the DISSENT line to solve the length penalty inherent to blowback AR-pattern pistol-caliber firearms, combining its Radial Delayed Blowback action with a compact side-charging receiver to shrink the platform without a folding stock.
