Also known as: Cometa Orion SPR, Cometa Orion SH, Cometa Orion Gold
Overview
The Cometa Orion is a Spanish pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle built by the veteran Basque airgun maker Cometa in Eibar. Available in .177, .22, .25 and .30 calibre, it feeds pellets from a self-actuating multi-shot rotary magazine cycled by a bolt action and draws from a 225cc air reservoir filled to 200 bar via a Foster quick-fill port with an onboard gauge. It combines a cold-hammer-forged rifled barrel with an adjustable trigger, manual safety, integrated sound moderator and a checkered beech Monte Carlo stock. Offered in several trims (SPR, SPR Long, SH and Gold), the Orion is aimed at small-game hunting and recreational target shooting.

Background
Cometa traces its airgun heritage in the Basque gunmaking town of Eibar back to the mid-20th century, long known for spring-piston sporters. The Orion marked the company's move into the modern regulated PCP market, pairing traditional Spanish beech stockmaking with a multi-shot pneumatic action.
