The Crosman 1701P Silhouette is a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) single-shot competition air pistol chambered in .177 caliber. Built for International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association (IHMSA) and NRA competition, it uses a bolt-action feed with a German-made Lothar Walther rifled barrel, an adjustable two-stage trigger, and a reversible bolt for right- or left-handed shooters. Velocity is user-adjustable from roughly 450 to 550 fps, and a single air charge delivers around 50 shots for consistent match performance.

Background

The 1701P is part of Crosman's Custom Shop-derived competition line that grew from the popular 1377/1300-series pneumatic pistols, repurposing the proven pump-pneumatic platform into a PCP target gun aimed at field-target and metallic-silhouette shooters.
