Overview
The CVA Wolf is a .50 caliber break-action inline muzzleloading rifle built for entry-level and budget-conscious hunters. Ignited by a 209 shotshell primer through a quick-release breech plug, it uses a break-open barrel for loading the primer and cleaning. The Wolf pairs a 24-inch stainless steel barrel with a synthetic ambidextrous stock, DuraSight one-piece scope mount and fiber-optic open sights, making it one of the most popular affordable modern muzzleloaders on the North American hunting market.

Notes
Barrels are manufactured in Spain by Bergara and imported/assembled by CVA in the United States. The Wolf V2, introduced in 2022, added a length-of-pull adjustable ambidextrous stock and updated hammer design.
Background
CVA (Connecticut Valley Arms) began in 1971 selling black-powder rifle kits and grew into one of the largest suppliers of modern inline muzzleloaders, with the Wolf serving as its perennial value-priced hunting rifle.
