Overview
The Daewoo DP52 is a compact double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR, produced in South Korea by Daewoo Precision Industries. A blowback-operated rimfire derived from the company's DP51 service-pistol family, it shares the DP51's general ergonomics and controls while offering low recoil, making it suitable for training, plinking, and concealed carry. It features an aluminum-alloy frame, a steel slide, white three-dot sights, and a 10-round detachable box magazine. The DP52 was imported into the United States during the mid-1990s.

Background
Daewoo Precision Industries built the DP52 as the small-bore stablemate to the 9mm DP51, letting shooters practice with the same handling at rimfire cost; the line later passed to S&T Motiv (now SNT Motiv) as Daewoo's defense arm was spun off.
