Overview
The Daniel Defense MK12 is inspired by the military MK12 Special Purpose Rifle used by designated marksmen. Featuring an 18-inch stainless steel MK12-profile barrel with DLC finish, a Geissele SSA two-stage trigger, and a 12-inch Picatinny quad rail, it delivers precision rifle performance from the AR-15 platform. The gas block is built to Crane USSOCOM specifications.

Background
The original MK12 SPR was developed by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division for Navy SEALs and Army special operations units who needed a precision capability from their M4 platform without carrying a dedicated sniper rifle.
