Also known as: Alpha Wolf, Daystate Alpha Wolf HP

Overview

The Daystate Alpha Wolf is a high-end electronic pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle made in the United Kingdom by Daystate. It builds on the company's Map Compensated Technology electronic firing system, replacing the LCD interface of the earlier Red Wolf with a colour touchscreen control unit that includes an integrated onboard chronograph and user-tunable power, regulator and shot-count settings. The rifle uses reversible sidelever cocking, an 11-shot rotary magazine in .22 calibre, a fully shrouded carbon-fibre barrel, and a sculpted ambidextrous laminate stock with adjustable cheekpiece and buttpad, making it a favourite for precision field target shooting and hunting.

Background

Daystate pioneered commercial precharged pneumatic air rifles in the late 1970s and introduced electronic firing-valve technology with the original Wolverine; the Alpha Wolf carried that lineage forward by replacing the Red Wolf's LCD panel with a full touchscreen and integrated chronograph, marketed as one of the most technologically advanced sporting air rifles available.
