Also known as: DT Sabertooth
Overview
The Desert Tech Sabertooth is a select-fire, multi-caliber bullpup assault rifle developed for the military and law enforcement market. Announced in January 2024, it is the fully-automatic-capable sibling of the semi-automatic WLVRN, built on the same short-stroke gas-piston, rotating-bolt, forward-ejecting bullpup platform. The Sabertooth supports rapid caliber conversion between 5.56x45mm NATO/.223 Wylde, .308 Winchester, 6.5mm Creedmoor, and .300 AAC Blackout, and by regulatory design its select-fire fire-control group is not interchangeable with the civilian WLVRN.

Notes
The Sabertooth's select-fire capability and fire-control components are deliberately non-interchangeable with the civilian semi-automatic WLVRN to satisfy regulatory requirements. Offered in 11.5, 16, and 20-inch barrel lengths; the cyclic rate is 675 rpm across all chamberings. Specifications shown reflect the 20-inch .223 REM/5.56 configuration (rifle length 30 in, ~8.2 lb).
Background
Desert Tech unveiled the Sabertooth on January 19, 2024 as the select-fire counterpart to its WLVRN bullpup - a rare American attempt at a truly caliber-swappable service rifle that can transform from a 5.56mm carbine into a 6.5 Creedmoor precision weapon in minutes.
