Desert Tech SRS-M2
Desert Tech · Sniper Rifle · In Production · 2021
Also known as: SRS-M2, DT SRS-M2, Stealth Recon Scout M2
Overview
The Desert Tech SRS-M2 is a compact bullpup bolt-action precision sniper rifle and the latest generation of the Stealth Recon Scout platform. Its bullpup layout places the action behind the trigger group, delivering a full 660mm (26-inch) barrel in an overall length of just 940mm -- roughly 280mm shorter than a conventional rifle with an equal barrel. The M2 is a multi-caliber system that converts between short, long, and magnum cartridges -- including 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum, .300 Norma Magnum, 7mm, .338 Norma Magnum, and .338 Lapua Magnum -- by swapping the barrel, bolt, and magazine in under 60 seconds with a single 5mm hex wrench, with a return-to-zero guarantee.

Notes
The SRS-M2 refines the earlier SRS-A2 with an upgraded chassis featuring M-Lok slots and Area 419 ARCALock rail sections machined directly into the forend, an integral tripod mount, and an adjustable monopod. Desert Tech guarantees 1/2 MOA accuracy in three-shot groups at 100 yards. The adjustable trigger breaks between roughly 1.5 and 7 pounds. Barrel lengths of 22 or 26 inches are offered, and magazine capacity varies from 5 to 10 rounds depending on the chambered caliber.
Background
Desert Tech built its reputation on proving that a bullpup bolt-action could match the accuracy of conventional precision rifles while shaving nearly a foot off the overall length. The SRS-M2 carries that concept forward with a modernized chassis built around modular accessory interfaces, aimed at snipers and long-range shooters who need full magnum power in a package short enough to maneuver from vehicles, hides, and confined urban spaces.
