Overview
The Diamondback SDR-A is a lightweight six-shot snub-nose revolver introduced in 2026, chambered for .38 Special +P. It uses a forged 7075-T6 aluminum frame paired with a stainless-steel barrel and cylinder to reach an unloaded weight of just 15.6 ounces, making it one of the lightest production revolvers in any caliber. The SDR-A is the first model in the SDR line to feature a fully enclosed hammer, giving it completely snag-free double-action-only operation ideal for pocket and concealed carry, and it ships with fiber-optic front and rear sights and a push-button cylinder release.
