Overview
The Diana 240 Classic is a break-barrel, spring-piston air rifle chambered in .177 caliber (4.5mm) pellet. Built by the German maker Diana (Mayer & Grammelspacher), it is a compact, lightweight entry-level rifle aimed at youth shooters and casual plinkers. It features a European hardwood stock, an adjustable two-stage trigger, fiber-optic open sights, an automatic safety, and a dovetail rail for mounting a scope. The factory rates muzzle velocity at around 580 fps with light pellets, producing roughly 7.5 joules of energy.
