Also known as: Girsan Witness2311 CMXX, EAA Witness 2311 CMXX 10mm

Overview

The EAA CMXX Witness2311 is a double-stack 2011-style pistol imported by European American Armory and built by Girsan in Turkey, chambered here in 10mm Auto. Introduced in early 2026, it uses a 4.25-inch bull barrel with an integral compensator, an RMSc-footprint optic cut, a fiber-optic front sight, and a lightening-cut slide. The redesigned frame drops the traditional 1911 grip safety in favor of an automatic firing-pin block, yielding a slimmer high-texture grip and a tuned trigger rated to 4.5 lbs.

Background

Turkish maker Girsan helped democratize the 2011, a platform that long carried five-figure custom price tags, by mass-producing import-priced double-stack 1911s that American reviewers dubbed the "Turkkato."
